Looking for ways to cut IT operating expenses without making huge green investments?
It turns out you’re not alone, especially if you’re looking for environmentally friendly improvements.
Despite the country’s current economic woes, IT execs are ready to invest in a bit of travel to find new cost-cutting ideas. The proof, according to the Uptime Institute, is a sharp increase in attendance expected for its Lean, Clean & Green Symposium next month in New York City.
Registrations for the April 13-16 conference are up 40% compared to last year’s meeting.
Conference organizers promise to help IT execs:
- reduce power bills by 25%
- eliminate needless expenses resulting from energy consumption— before investing millions in IT, and
- reduce greenhouse gases to meet current and future regulations while improving performance.
